Next stop: Airlie Beach - a gateway to the Whitsunday Islands (there are 74 of them)!!
For the kids on wheels :) It doesn't take much to make this world a better place, does it?
Airlie Beach, under construction
Australians have many of these sea/ocean-side pools
Time to visit the Whitsundays!! I chose an overnight trip aboard Wings 3, a 15.17m catamaran
Good night, sun
Hello BBQ!
Fancy a cuppa?
BRAD PAISLEY sans cowboy hat? Or just another hot italian stud..?

This was meant to be a dive trip but conditions were not great (vis = 2-3m), so I stuck to snorkeling. Until now, I did not know you could HEAR fish eating!!

Hot tub on board! they couldnt get me out of it. Even when it wasn't filled
It was VERY choppy, perfect for 'wave riding' at the front of the cat!

BIG ol' turtle! :)
Mister, you were worth waking up at 5:30am for!
THANKS WINGS for a great trip!! I highly recommend you!
Thanks for the after party, too ;)
Traveling presents special miracles ALL THE TIME.
One of them - an unexpected reunion with my old friend Kat, who I knew years ago from our time in Paihia! AND THEN the both of us unexpectedly running into a favorite muso of ours, Dan Pinkney (also from Paihia!)
They mis-spelled his name
They picked us up from Paihia, and years later, plopped us down in Airlie Beach.
Life is so funny..
